EMS leak monitoring points in a factory

EMS, the Emission Monitoring System

The EMS is our own system, developed in-house. It monitors many control volumes at once, shows where a leak is occurring and can trigger an automatic safety response. It is not an off-the-shelf box: each EMS is configured to the customer’s installation and requirements.

EMS versions

Mini EMS

Works with 10 control volumes. Suited to compact installations such as a single storage room, cabinet or small plant area.

Standard EMS

Works with 50 control volumes. For larger plants with many tanks, lines and connection points to monitor.

EMS with HMI display

An EMS with a touch-screen HMI that gives the user detailed information directly on screen: a plant diagram with each monitored point, live readings and alarm status.

Core capabilities

  • Multi-point monitoring: each control volume is monitored and its location identified
  • Real-time alerts: instant alarms when thresholds are crossed
  • Automatic response: valve shut-off, fire suppression and other actions can be triggered
  • Data logging and reporting: events and readings are recorded for review and audits
  • Integration: connects with existing plant control systems and networks

Bespoke by design

Every EMS is configured to the customer’s needs: the number and layout of control volumes, the gases monitored, alarm thresholds, automatic actions and the way information is displayed.
